About the Role:
Prevalent Care is seeking compassionate, reliable Family Support Workers to provide advocacy, welfare support, and practical assistance to families and children navigating social services involvement, court proceedings, and safeguarding concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support parents and carers at Child Protection and Child in Need meetings
- Provide advocacy for families navigating complex processes
- Conduct home visits and welfare checks
- Signpost families to local services and resources
- Maintain clear, accurate case notes
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check (essential)
- Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding legislation
- Experience working with vulnerable families preferred
- Strong communication and organisational skills
